The Effect of Technology Dependency on current Human civilization

IS TECHNOLOGY MAKING HUMANS WEAK?

Technology has grown since the invention of the wheel to now Artificial Intelligence and it is very much possible of the invention of artificial life mimicking humans in the near future. This is scary (in case of Sci-Fi movie reference), this is mind tangling and perhaps for a sane and logical person, a stupid invention as well, but why are humans so interested in copying itself when he is the original one. Right, it seems stupid. However, it does have BENEFITS.

Now, BENEFITS include everything a human can do, will be done by these inventions, and by everything means everything even broadening the spectrum of life (Artificial Reproduction) as well.

Two things come into our NATURAL brain. Is it necessary to do such inventions when the whole world is deteriorating with Global Warming and Pandemics? Are we becoming weak because of sorting our own problems (created by us)?

Well... The first question has been discussed around an infinite number of times. However, the second question is important, but if discussed by anyone, will make us a hypocrite.  

Let’s start.

First of all, the most important invention “Wheel”. The wheel is said to be the most important invention of human history. What happened was after several millions of years, now people prefer/want to go somewhere without doing physical work. Currently, obesity is increasing at an alarming rate. Just look at the stats of obesity in one of the most CIVILIZED nation America. 

Now let’s move towards the invention of Radio. However, the radio had the benefits of all sorts, it did lead to the invention of Telephones (Now Mobile Phones). People now are preferring to CALL somebody, instead of meeting them physically. Fighting on KEYBOARDS, breaking up on TEXT MESSAGES, reading on KINDLE, even fulfilling their sexual needs on the INTERNET (Games, Virtual Reality) and much more. This is not a rant, but it shows us how Humans have deviated from humanity to non-humanity.

We read history stating that “That” person conquered that place, “That” person discovered that Law. "That" person invented that “Cure”. Fast forward, and now people are building homes in Sim-City, people are conquering regions in Clash of Clans and inventing things that are portable and somehow strapless (Why?!). However, this does not mean that we should come out of our homes and start marching towards our neighbors and claim that land to be ours… No… This is just to show how irrespective of all that “Global Village” concept we are becoming idler and idle.

We are making Atomic weapons, building Smart buildings, skyscrapers, and so on. But what is the point of living in on the top floor of a 100 story building, when you are so weak that you wouldn’t go out because the elevator is not available. Well use a Helicopter (Pun intended)

Let’s take a deep breath and a look at our surroundings. Let’s do Science. By following the same trend how long we can survive. In the name of research, the world have seen Pandemics, Virus breakouts, Pollution, Global Warming, and much more. The only thing left is to dump this world, which in reality is an original plan of some of the richest and eccentric influencers of Earth.
